Before work
Starting point
The compact room combined wall tile, floor tile, a tub, toilet and oak vanity around one narrow doorway. The original finish layers were being replaced throughout, so leaving isolated patches of backer or drywall offered no value.
On site
Work completed
Water was shut down and fixtures were removed before tile work started. Wall tile and backing came off in controlled sections, followed by the floor finish and remaining drywall. Plumbing lines were exposed without filling open drains with debris.
Clean handoff
Result
The bathroom was left as a swept framed room with visible plumbing and a clean subfloor. Door trim and the hallway route remained protected, giving the renovation trades a predictable starting condition in a very small workspace.
