The decorative patio had heaved and cracked across several control joints. It wrapped around the rear entrance and met both the foundation and a garden border, leaving little room for careless breaking or oversized equipment.
On site
Work completed
The patio was isolated with saw cuts at the steps and foundation edge. Compact breaking equipment reduced the slab while a clear loading route kept debris off the lawn. Wire mesh and concrete were separated as each section came out.
Clean handoff
Result
The full patio footprint was cleared and the sub-base was left visible for the new landscape design. The door threshold, foundation finish and garden boundary remained undamaged, avoiding repair work before the replacement patio could begin.
